Bunking Policy
At Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp we believe your child will have the best camping experience bunking with 7 new friends. For this reason, we strongly prefer them to bunk with new friends. However, if you feel it necessary for him or her to bunk with a friend of the same age, please list only one friend’s name and age. Both friends must request each other. Priority given to those who request early.
Homesick Policy
Many campers experience homesickness in some way. It is healthy to feel a certain degree of homesickness, because it means that your child is attached to you – this is a very good thing! But we also want our campers to have fun and enjoy the full camp experience. We will call if your child is ill or if your child is too homesick to participate. If you need to know how your child is doing please contact the Camp Director. It is at the discretion of the Camp Director to allow campers to call home. We encourage you and your camper to mail letters back and forth.
